Dear. Mr. Nazareth,
Thank you very
much for your letter of March 27, 2004 inviting me to
be an Eminent Counsellor of Sarvodaya International
Trust. I accept your invitation and I consider it an
honour to be included in your Honor Panel of Eminent
Counsellors.
I am sorry that it took me so long to answer your letter,
but as you know we have just had our national and local
elections on May 10. Fortunately, my son, Benigno Aquino
III, was re-elected as congressman of the third district
of Tarlac, our home province and will serve his third
and last term. The votes for President, Vice President
and senators are still being tabulated and hopefully
we shall know the final result in three days.
Again, thank you for inviting me to be an Eminent Counsellor.
Sincerely,
Corazon G. Aquino
Mr. P.A. Nazareth
